Our approach

Understand → Plan → Invest → Track → Compound

Five steps, in that order. You can stop at any of them, come back later, and bring a person in whenever you like.

The five steps

  1. 01

    Understand

Know what you own, what things cost and how products work.

    You
Read, explore and ask questions at your own pace.
    CompoundX
Plain-English education, a glossary for every term and an assistant grounded in reviewed content.
  2. 02

    Plan

Turn goals into numbers you can act on.

    You
Enter your goals, timelines and the assumptions you believe are reasonable.
    CompoundX
Inflation-adjusted goal costs, funding gaps and illustrative monthly amounts — with every assumption visible.
  3. 03

    Invest

Act when you are ready, through regulated infrastructure.

    You
Decide whether, when and how much to invest.
    CompoundX
Explain the handoff, then take you to our regulated partner’s platform for KYC, onboarding and transactions.
  4. 04

    Track

Keep your plan and your progress in one place.

    You
Revisit goals, update your Wealth Map and review your portfolio.
    CompoundX
Saved goals and calculations, handoff status, portfolio analytics and reports in your account.
  5. 05

    Compound

Stay the course and adjust as life changes.

    You
Keep contributing, rebalance occasionally and update the plan after big life events.
    CompoundX
Periodic reviews with your relationship manager, whenever you want a second look.

Five steps, in order

Most financial mistakes come from doing the steps out of order — buying before planning, planning before understanding. CompoundX is built so the natural path through the site follows the right sequence, and so you get something useful at every step even if you stop there.

1. Understand

Before anything else, know what you already have and how the products you are considering work. The Academy, the glossary and every product page explain concepts in plain English, including risks and tax. Ask X answers questions from the same reviewed content.

2. Plan

Turn goals into numbers. Goal Studio works out what a goal could cost in future rupees and the illustrative monthly investment it may need. The Wealth Lab maps your net worth, cash flow, protection and goals together. Assumptions — returns, inflation, timelines — are yours to set, and results are illustrations, not forecasts.

3. Invest

When you decide to invest, we explain what happens next and who does what, then take you to our regulated partner's platform, where KYC, onboarding and transactions are processed. You choose whether, when and how much. Nothing is invested on your behalf without your action on that platform.

4. Track

Your goals, saved calculations, reports and the status of your investment journey live in your CompoundX account. Portfolio X-Ray shows your allocation, concentration and fund overlap from the holdings you provide.

5. Compound

Time does most of the work, provided the plan survives contact with real life. Keep contributing, rebalance occasionally, and update the plan after major events — a new job, a child, a home. Cost of Waiting shows why starting and staying matter.

A person in the loop

Tools are good at arithmetic; people are better at context. At any step you can talk to a CompoundX relationship manager — to check your understanding, pressure-test a plan, or help when you are ready to act. Ask X hands questions it shouldn't answer, such as which product to choose, to a person.

Education, arithmetic — and where advice begins

Our content and tools are educational: they explain concepts and do calculations from the inputs you give them. They don't assess suitability or recommend specific products. Personalised investment advice is a regulated activity in India; if CompoundX or a partner offers it, the relevant registration will be listed on our Disclosures page.

How partners fit

We name our partners and explain their role at the point of handoff and on our Disclosures page.

Bring a person in, whenever you like.
